Sac County Hosts One-Day Passport Fair

Appointments are highly recommended to ensure timely processing of applications. Interested applicants can book an appointment online. Limited walk-ins will be accepted until noon, but those with appointments will receive priority. Parking is free for the duration of the Passport Fair at the Sacramento County Public Parking Garage at 725 7th Street. The gates will be open until 5 p.m.
Documents needed include a completed DS-11 application form (do not sign until instructed by the passport agent), proof of U.S. citizenship (birth certificate, naturalization certificate, etc.), government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, etc.), passport photo (can also be taken on-site), and payment (check or money order only, payable to "U.S. Department of State" and "Sacramento County-Clerk of the Board").
Fee Breakdown
Passport Books: Adults (16+) cost is $130 to U.S. Department of State and $35 to Sacramento County. Children (under 16) cost is $100 to U.S. Department of State and $35 to Sacramento County
Passport Cards: Adults (16+) cost is $30 to U.S. Department of State and $35 to Sacramento County. Children (under 16) cost is $15 to U.S. Department of State and $35 to Sacramento County
Optional Services include passport photos ($15), document copies ($1.50 per document), Express Mail ($27.70), expedited processing ($60), and 1-2 day delivery ($21.36).
